Secondary Curriculum Overview
The secondary curriculum of EM-S ISD provides students with comprehensive course choices including core disciplines, electives and a growing selection of Career and Technology courses. Students and parents work in conjunction with school counselors to select courses and a graduation plan to address each student’s individual academic goals. Students may select from two graduation plans: Recommended High School Program or Distinguished Achievement Program.
One of our district goals is to "ensure ever higher student achievement." Our secondary curriculum is constantly expanding to meet the needs of all students to prepare them for success after graduation, whether in employment, a trade or higher education.
