Want to be a Class Officer? |

Any current freshman, sophomore, or junior who is interested in running for class officer for next year can pick up filing forms from Ms. Finch in room A207 beginning Wednesday, May 5.
All filing forms and teacher recommendations will be due Tuesday, May 11. The class officer election will be in the cafeteria during all three lunches on Thursday, May 13.

TCTA is pleased to announce a new scholarship program for Texas high school seniors. This program is designed for students who may not have stellar academic records, and who have faced hardships or challenges that may preclude higher education or career/vocational training without some help.
Rather than focusing on academic records, we will choose award recipients based primarily on the qualities they have demonstrated that make them likely to succeed if given a chance.
Additional information and a scholarship application are available on the TCTA website at www.tcta.org. Completed applications must be received at TCTA Headquarters by June 1, 2010, along with a copy of the student’s most recent transcript.

Exploring College Options is a special recruitment program sponsored by the undergraduate admissions offices of five of the country's leading universities: Duke University, Georgetown University, Harvard University, the University of Pennsylvania, and Stanford University.

The Texas Tech Chapter of Sigma Phi Epsilon Fraternity is offering a Balanced Man Scholarship in the amount of $1000 to an outstanding freshman male entering Texas Tech University in the fall of 2010 semester.

The Boswell Baseball team is starting the Playoffs on Thursday at Denton Guyer at 7:30.
Game 2 will be at Boswell on Friday at 7:30 please come out and support the Pioneers. We want a big crowd on Friday night!

The Texas Skyward User Group (TSUG) scholarship application is available in the guidance counseling office for seniors applying to a College, University or Technical School.
The application must be postmarked on or before Friday, May 21, 2010. Hurry!!! This deadline is fast approaching.

You do not have to be accepting the scholarship for us to count it, so please bring any and all scholarships you have been offered to the counseling department by Friday, May 14.
