Two Prairie Vista Students Qualify for Duke University's
TIP Academy for Summer Studies

Prairie Vista Middle School students Matthew Smiley and Jeffrey Avena have qualified for Duke University's Summer Studies Program based on their scores on the SAT test through Duke's Seventh Grade Talent Search program.
Matthew's score on the SAT Critical Reading test qualified him for the Duke TIP Academy for Summer Studies and Jeffrey's scores on the SAT Critical Reading and Writing qualified him for program.
Both students will be attending the State Recognition Ceremony at Texas Christian University on June 1, 2010.
