I am the coordinator of the Teen Parent Program at Watson Learning Center, Saginaw High School, and Boswell High School in the Eagle Mountain-Saginaw ISD. I have been working with teen parents in this district for 10 years.
The goal of the Teen Parent Program is to help students stay in school, graduate, and become successful both in their career and as a parent.
Some of the services we provide are:

This is focused on instruciton related to knowledge and skills in child develoment, parenting, and home and family living.
Homebound instruction for students for 6 calendar weeks after they have their baby. Also homebound is available prior to the birth of the baby if there is a medical necessity for it.
Counseling for the student and family as needed.
Transportation to school and/or day care if needed (usually through school buses or the use of cab vouchers)
Assistance in obtaining and paying for day care, subject to certain requirements.
