Lettered in Track at Tarleton State University (Competed in the javelin throw and placed in the NAIA Conference Meet). Dedrea is the Physical Education teacher at Lake Pointe Elementary.  Two children, six nieces and one nephew are students at EMS-ISD.  Has a twin brother.
