Band shows character:
- at the Brewer Game - "the kids said more pleases and thank yous than I have ever heard...they were great" (from band parent)
- at the Richland Game - "the kids were very respectful" "everyone waited in line and was ready to order" (from a concession stand worker)
- at the Central Game - "wow, the stands look great" in reference to how clean that band set was after we left the game (from Mr. Griffin, principal BHS)
- at state marching contest - "we would love to have your band back in two years. The kids were well behaved and treated our staff with respect and character" (from Cynthia Garza manger at the Emily Morgan Hotel)

Welcome to the Webpage for the
Boswell High School Band of Gold!
The band has completed many of its activities for the 2011 concert season and is looking forward toward the marching season of 2011. We will be reviewing marching literature and going through auditions for band placements and student leadership coming up soon. If you have a question about any aspect of our program or would like to see a recommended course plan, please do not hesitate to call or e-mail. All contact information along with each director's responsibilities are located on the Staff page along the left hand side of each band page.
From time to time, parents, community members and local businesses ask the staff how they may contribute to the band in a way that will help them out the most. For those wishing to assist the Band of Gold, a wish list has been compiled through our booster club. In-Kind or Monetary donations are accepted for the items on the list. Please look over the list and see which items you may be able to help out our band program with.
We are constantly maintaining and implementing upgrades to our website. If you notice inaccuracies, or have suggestions for improvement please contact the appropriate member of the band staff. Note: When an event on the Calendar does not have a time indicated, the time is not necessarily an All-Day event as the calendar says. Please regard this as Time - TBA.
