With more than 400 students, parents, staff, and community members in attendance, EMS ISD's first-ever district-wide STEM Showcase featuring 57 student groups from grades PreK-12 was a success at the Hollenstein Career and Technology Center on the evening of March 22.
Personalized course selection will begin in April for next school year's high school students. Band instrument selection dates for sixth-graders also scheduled in April. Click the headline for dates and information.
EMS ISD parents are invited to attend a presentation, "Technology's Influence over Children's Beliefs and Behaviors" on March 29 and a screening of a brand-new documentary, "Angst: Raising Awareness Around Anxiety" on April 5. Both events will be held from 6-7:30 pm at the Weldon Hafley Development Center.
Any high school student who is registering for 2018-19 courses at the HCTC is invited to attend on either Tuesday, April 24, or Thursday, April 26 at 6 pm or 6:45 pm for our spring orientation nights. Course information and any fees associated with a course will be discussed during these meetings.
