Like many people in this area, I never really seemed to stray too far from home no matter how hard I tried. I was born and raised in Saginaw, and in 1999, I graduated from Boswell High School.
From there, I drove the extra couple of miles every day to attend TCC, along with several of my fellow alumni, and in two years I received my Associate's Degree. After TCC, I transferred my time and my money to Texas Tech University. I graduated in the summer of 2003 with a Bachelor's Degree in Communication Studies/Management. The very next day, I moved back home.
In 2013, I completed work on my Master's Degree in Educational Administration, and in the summer of 2017, I took the position of Assistant Principal at Boswell High School.
This is my 13th year at Boswell High School, and during my tenure I have served the school in several areas. I started out teaching and coaching both athletics and academics as the assistant tennis coach, assistant wrestling coach, and the speech and debate coach. For seven years, I was the head tennis coach where I enjoyed working with great kids year in and out. For the next 2/12 years, I served the campus as the Testing/504 Coordinator. I am currently in my first year of administration.
As far as my personal life is concerned, I have been happily married since 2004 to a wonderful girl from Houston whom I met at Tech. We have two beautiful girls, Mackenzie and Samantha, and we have a dog named Stella. I am an avid golfer, even though I am horrible, and I love to exercise and play just about any sport imaginable.
I am honored and thrilled to continue to serve the school that served me for so many years, and I look forward to helping all of our students in any way that I can. It's a great day to be a Pioneer!
