I am one of those lucky people who developed, at an early age, a strong passion for working with children. Therefore, I have dedicated the past 40 years of my professional life to the nurturing of young minds, and to providing excellency in early childhood learning.
I speak English, Arabic and some French. I received my Child Development and Teaching degree in 1971. In 1992, I was licensed as a Childcare Center Director by the Texas Department of Protective and Regulatory Services and became the owner and operator of a day care and learning center. I received my Montessori certification in 1994 and also completed the NAEYC class.
I started my career as a pre-school and elementary school teacher in my native Lebanon. Within a few years, I had the opportunity to teach in an international school in Saudi Arabia. This experience provided a wealth of cultural exposure as the student body consisted of children from all over the world.
I am currently a Master Registered Trainer with the Texas Early Care and Development Career System. Through my training work, I am able to reach further into the wonderful community of pre-school teachers and directors in greater Texas, as well as to train my own childcare staff.
In 2005, I became the Child Care Coordinator at the Child Care center for EMS ISD. Thank you for the opportunity of working with you and your children.
