    • Q:  What time do the school doors open for me to drop off my child in the mornings?
    • A: The school doors open at 7:10 a.m. each school day.  Please do not drop off your child before that time.  From 7:10 - 7:40, your child will report to either the cafeteria or the gym (as assigned) to wait until his/her teacher picks him/her up.  Kindergarten will report to the cafeteria.  First grade will report to the front hall and fine arts hall unless eating breakfast first.  Second through Fifth grade will report to the gym unless eating breakfast first.

    • Q:  What time is breakfast served?
    • A: Breakfast is served in the cafeteria each school day from 7:10 - 7:30 a.m.
    • Q:  What time is my child counted tardy?
    • A:  Students are counted tardy after the official beginning of the school day at 7:40 a.m. and must get a tardy pass from the office before going to class.
    • What time is school dismissed?
    • School is dismissed each day by 2:40 p.m.
    • Q:  What do I do when my child is absent from school?
    • A:   A student absent from school shall provide a note that describes the reason for the absence.  The note shall be signed by the student's parent or guardian.  This notification should be provided as soon as possible.
    • Q:  Does my child need a doctor's note when he/she is absent?
    • A:  If absences due to illness exceed five times during a semsester, a doctor's excuse may be required for excusing future absences due to illness.
    • Q:  What if I need to talk to my child's teacher during the school day?
    • A:  Teachers have assigned conference times throughout the school day.  Please ask your child's teacher about his/her conference schedule. 
    • Q:  What if my child is going home differently for the day?
    • A:  Please send a signed note to your child's teacher on days that your child is going home a different way or being picked up by a different person.
    • Q:  What if I forget to send a note to my child's teacher when my child is going home a different way or being picked up by someone else?
    • A:  If you forget to send a note to your child's teacher, please call the school office as soon as possible to leave a message for your child's teacher. 
    • Q:  When do report cards go home?
    • A:  Report cards will be sent home on Friday following the end of each six weeks period.  Report cards must be signed and returned the next school day.  (Exceptions may be made for holidays.)  Progress reports will be sent home after the third week of each six week period.  These must also be signed in return the next school day. 
    • Can I send treats for my child's birthday?
    • Birthday cupcakes are not allowed in 1st through 5th grade.  In Kindergarten, only store bought cupcakes my be sent to school on your child's birthday.
