Head of Delegation - TBD as of August, 2017
EMS ISD has partnered with Special Olympics to bring athletic events to our community for students with disabilities. In order for this program to be successful, not only do we need athletes, but we need organizers, planners, and plenty of people to cheer on our athletes. If you would like to volunteer for EMS ISD Trailblazers, please visit www.sotx.org
and contact Olivia Perry, Head of Delegation.
The mission of Special Olympics is to provide year-round sports training and athletic competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for children and adults with intellectual disabilities, giving them continuing opportunities to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy and participate in a sharing of gifts, skills and friendship with their families, other Special Olympics athletes and the community. For more information about Special Olympics, visit the websites:
