Degrees and Certifications:
I spent the majority of my youth as a military dependent traveling from post to post, as is the experience of many military families. We finally settled in my parents’ hometown of Shreveport, Louisiana.
After graduating high school, I attended college at LSU-Shreveport and was a member of the Louisiana National Guard. I met and married my husband and relocated to Mississippi, where I was a member of the Mississippi National Guard. I continued my college education at the University of Southern Mississippi where I attained my Bachelor of Science in Education.
I’ve been married to Reginald for twenty years and we have one daughter, Allyncia, who is in the 7th grade. We enjoy spending time together and traveling just about anywhere.
I’ve been teaching for a total of fifteen years. I taught third grade in Waco ISD for three years, sixth grade in Plaquemines Parish (a district just outside of New Orleans) for eight years, and this will be my fifth year here at Comanche Springs.
