Hello Rangers, Here is some info about me:
I was born in Panama City, Panama (Central America). My mother is from the U.S. and my dad Panamanian, so I grew up bilingual and bi-cultural. I am proud of my culture an my language and this is why I studied Spanish. I went to Florida State University in Tallahassee, Florida and obtained my BA in Modern Languages and Linguistics with a major in Spanish and a minor in English. I also studied Italian and Russian. I truly enjoy languages and Spanish is my favorite one. I then move to the United States and started teaching Bilingual Kindergarten. Soon I moved to Elementary Art but after a few years, decided to move to Spanish. I also obtained my MA in Teaching in 2006. I truly feel that I have more to offer in Spanish High School, because Spanish is my Native Language and my area of Expertise. In other words: It is what I went to school for.
I am married and I have 3 wonderful children. My oldest one is in the Air force, my Middle one is a Senior at Saginaw and my daughter is in 6th grade. I love being a mom and I also love having my two Blue Russian Cats: Cloud and Storm.
My favorite hobby is TRAVELING!!!!!! I always look forward to summer trips so I can visit unique places such as Africa, Italy or Ixtapa, Mexico.
It is truly an honor to be here and to be your Spanish Teacher. CTHS is my own community and I am happy that I can help the students in my own community by providing them with opportunity for success.
