I started offering trips in  December 2013 for the Spring Break during the 2015 school year because I believe it is important for students to take their learning beyond the classroom and into the real world.  Interacting with other cultures while studying our connected pasts helps bring education to life for students, and it helps them be more successful as they move through life.  While other schools only take AP students, I opened my trips to everyone.  Not only may all students go,  parents are invited to come with their students to share in this experience and to see the world for a greatly reduced price, too.  Moreover, after confirming with EF Tours, all students, including alumni, are welcome to travel with us.

As for starting the funding for the trips nearly a year in advance, the reason is simple: I don't want to break the bank for a trip.  I want our students to have the chance to go, and I want the costs to be minimized.  By allowing a year to pay for the trip, the costs are reduced, monthly, and the trip becomes a reality for more students.  If you want to learn more, please stop by room 401.  If you cannot make this meeting, let me know, and I will be happy to meet with you at another time.

*Note: This trip is not sponsored or endorsed by Eagle Mountain Saginaw ISD or Chisholm Trail High School.  Dr. Sutton offers the trip as a learning opportunity through EF Tours.
