Degrees and Certifications:
Miss Lisa Fellows
I am the German teacher at Boswell High School, und es freut mich, hier zu sein! I graduated from Boswell in June of 2014, and I went on to participate in the GAPP exchange program to Winterberg, which I will now be leading. As a student at Boswell, I was active in the varsity choir and LD debate. After high school, I graduated from the University of North Texas in May of 2017 with a degree in International Security and Diplomacy and a minor in German. During college, I studied abroad for a summer at the Universitaet Freiburg and a semester at the Universitaet Tuebingen, which are both in Baden-Wuerttemberg, Germany. The year before I graduated college, I participated in a three-month internship with an international company in Kortrijk, Belgium as an export department intern, and I lived in Ghent, Belgium during this time. During my last year at UNT, I worked in the German-language department as the Teacher's Assistant and served the Deutscher Akademischer Austauschdienst (DAAD) as a 2016-2017 Youth Ambassador. I have traveled to 25 countries since high school, and I'm looking forward to taking a group of students to Germany in June!
