As part of our Social Emotional Learning (SEL) focus, we are partnering with Recovery Resource Council, Just Say Yes, and The Women’s Center of Tarrant County to provide awareness and prevention education to students.
Recovery Resource presentations will occur on October 20th during your child’s Huddle class. Presentations will include information about the dangers of tobacco and other drugs, and emphasize healthy decision-making.

Just Say Yes speaker, Gabe Salazar, will speak to all students on October 23rd. Gabe’s program provides students with strategies to overcome obstacles in the classroom and beyond. He challenges students to be purposeful with their choices, and tells them it is never too late to turn things around for themselves.
