    Welcome to my web page! My goal as school counselor is to help our students have an academically, socially, and emotionally fulfilling experience this year. I am here to help our students function positively at school and develop skills that will last a lifetime.     About Me

    Education:

    I grew up in Marfa, Texas and attended college at Angelo State University and Sul Ross State University.  I obtained a Bachelor of Arts Degree in History and English and Master of Education Degree in Counseling.  I also recently obtained my principal certification.

    Family:

    I have been blessed with two wonderful children! My son Joey (age 25) earned his bachelor's degree and master's degree from Texas A&M University, and he is now employed with ExxonMobil in Beaumont, Texas.  My daughter Megan (age 21) is in her third year at Abilene Christian University.  She is planning to become a bilingual speech pathologist. 

    Hobbies:  

    Since my children are grown now, I have found time to enjoy a variety of hobbies including kickboxing, yoga, reading, and travel.  I also enjoy my church activities and spending time with family and friends.

    Work History:

    I joined the Ed Willkie team in January! I came from Jim Ned Middle School in Tuscola, Texas where I served as the guidance counselor for seven years. My other counseling and teaching experience includes:
