February is Teen Dating Violence (DV) Awareness Month. Teen DV Awareness Month is a national effort to raise awareness about abuse in teen and 20-something relationships and promote programs that prevent it.
Throughout the year at EWMS, we educate on respect, building healthy relationships, practicing healthy communication, and preventing dating violence. The ultimate goals of educating about youth violence are to stop Teen Dating Violence before it begins, and to promote healthy relationships.
