We will be taking applications for the 2016-2017 School Year starting, August 1, 2016!
If you have questions, need a computer to fill out applications, or need a paper application, please feel free to come to the Child Nutrition Department at 1200 Old Decatur Rd. Building #6. Paper Application Process:
Free and reduced meal applications are available to every student in the district at any time. There are several ways to complete an application:
You may fill out the application online at the links above, pick one up at any school office or cafeteria, or the Administration building. You may also come to our office at 1200 Old Decatur Rd. Building # 6 from 8:00 a.m.- 4:30 p.m.
At our office, you may fill out the application and we will process it while you wait. If you leave your application with the school office it will take longer to process, because we have to wait for it to reach our office. If you are new to the district we recommend you fill one out online or come to our office in order for your child to start receiving the benefits faster. We also have an after-hours drop box if you need to drop it off.
Please remember: only fill out one application per family and either online or paper (completing both will only delay your application being processed).
If we receive the application through the school, mail, or online we will mail you a benefits letter as soon as it is processed.
Once your child has been approved for the meal program, you will need to know that these meals are for a “plate meal,” i.e. what is on the menu for that day. Snack items or a la carte items will be charged at full price.
