Meet Mrs. Allen!!Hello! My name is Holly Allen and I am beginning my 26th year as a math teacher! Wow, time does fly when you are having fun! This year will be my eleventh year at Boswell High School teaching Algebra I, Pre-AP Algebra I, Algebra 2, Pre-AP Algebra 2, Geometry and Algebraic Reasoning. I am also the Math Learning Coach for Boswell High School and had the wonderful privilege of being a part of Boswell's Model School presentation in Orlando, Florida last year! I will also be starting my nineteenth year in the district. I taught for 8 years at Highland Middle School, but started my teaching career in Norman, Oklahoma after graduating from Oklahoma State University, home of the Cowboys - Go Pokes!I am married to my wonderful husband , Matthew, who is the Varsity Receivers Coach at Burleson Centennial High School in Burleson, Texas as well as the Associate Head Varsity Baseball Coach and Pitching coach for all the baseball teams. We have 3 beautiful daughters, Allison (18) , a graduate from Boswell High School, Sadie (11) a sixth grader at Highland Middle School and Tessa (10) a fifth grader at Gililland Elementary School.I come from a very large family, as I have 5 other brother and sisters, four of which graduated from Boswell High School , and even though I did not attend school in the Eagle Mountain - Saginaw school district (I graduated from Hugo High School in Hugo, Oklahoma as valedictorian), I feel like I have been a part of this fine district for most of my life. My mother was a fifth grade teacher at Gililland for 25 years and retired from EMS-ISD and one of my younger brothers is Coach Weaver who teaches World Geography, Economics and coaches here at Bos too!
