My Philosophy: All students can learn and will rise to my level of expectations.

Why do I love teaching: I love being able to see students grow and show their academic achievements.  I love being able to get students excited about reading.

What I love at PV: The fact that we come together and help each other out, not just with school work but with difficulties in life.  I appreciate all of the teachers, staff and administrators here at PV and recognize how important their support and encouragement is to all of us!

Teaching Philosophy:  I feel that every student should have the opportunity to feel safe in learning. I feel that they should feel safe in asking questions and answering questions.  I feel that students need the opportunity to talk "math" to get a better understanding of the work that they are doing.

Why do you love teaching? I love to help students know that they can "get" math.  My favorite thing to see  is the smile on the students face when the student understands something that they struggled on or thought was going to be hard.  My favorite thing to hear is when a student tells me that "This is not so hard."

What do you like most about PVMS?  I am amazed at how many students show up for tutorials and want to learn and raise their grade, some even get upset when I have to cancel tutoring!  I am also very proud of the great parent support that I have had so far.

Teaching Philosophy: I believe that each child is a unique and wonderful individual who needs and deserves a secure, caring, and stimulating atmosphere in which to grow and mature emotionally, intellectually, physically, and socially.

Why do you love teaching? I love being able to make a positive impact in the lives of my students. I also love learning from them. They teach me so much about myself and what I can do to help them.  They also inspire me to be a better person inside and outside of the classroom.

What do you like most about PVMS? Prairie Vista has such a nurturing and supportive learning environment, not only for the students, but for the staff, as well. I am grateful to be here!
