Boswell and Chisholm Trail high schools traveled to Springtown on Saturday, October 8, to compete against 19 other bands in the annual Sound of Springtown Marching Showcase.
The Boswell drum line competed in the advanced rounds of the competition, where they won first place in the standstill round and first in the finals round. Overall, the Boswell Pioneers finished in sixth place.
The Ranger Regiment band competed in both the marching preliminary competition and the preliminary placements, where they finished in first and third place. Later that evening, the CT color guard and the drum line competed in the standstill competition. The color guard finished in first and the drum line finished in second. Overall, Chisholm Trail finished in second place.
