    Eagle Mountain-Saginaw ISD Mission Statement
The mission of Eagle Mountain-Saginaw Independent School District is to foster a culture of excellence that instills a passion for a lifetime of continuous achievement in every student.
    Personal Teaching Statement:
Mathematics is the purest form of logic. The goal of mathematics is to think logically, therefore the goal of my classes is to teach my students to think logically. This logic allows students to become future valuable employees due to the fact that employers are looking to hire people who can be presented with a problem and find the best solutions to solve that problem. These thoughts influence the way that I teach.
Students need to see an educator that is passionate about mathematics.
Students need to be challenged and pushed to refine their thinking abilities.
Students need to be applying that logic in real world problems that at times also involves technology. We will be using a scientific graphing calculator heavily in these classes.
Students should recognize that educators grow by being informed as to how they are doing by the students. Just as students need growth so do those educating them.
Logic must be taught both in verbal and written form and the student will be expected to express logic in both written and verbal form.
