I was born and raised in Columbia, Missouri. I attended the University of Central Missouri (GO MULES!), where I ran Track & Cross Country, and earned a Bachelors of Science in Athletic Training.
I then attended Midwestern State University (GO MUSTANGS!), where I worked as a Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer for the Men's Basketball Team and earned a Masters of Education in Sports Administration. From there, I moved to Haltom City where I worked as a Co-Head Athletic Trainer at Haltom High School (GO BUFFS!) for one year.
I then came to Eagle Mountain Saginaw ISD where I worked as an Assistant Athletic Trainer at Saginaw High School (GO ROUGH RIDERS!) for two years. Once I started my family, I decided to begin a new adventure called teaching. I began teaching Sports Medicine and Clinical Rotations here at Hollenstein Career and Technology Center in 2016, and I absolutely love it!
I am married to Matt Reames, who is the Head Athletic Trainer at Irving MacArthur High School. We have one son, and two fur babies, Tyson (english bulldog) and Tessa (golden retreiver).
I truly enjoy teaching students about the profession that I love!
