    Erin Abernathy
My name is Erin Abernathy and I am a third grade teacher at Chisholm Ridge Elementary.  The 2016-2017 school year will be my 13th year of teaching.  I can't imagine doing anything else.  It is a great feeling to love what you do.  I often say that I learn just as much as my students do each year.  The mind of a child is an amazing thing.  They are always teaching me new things. My goal each year for my students is to help them grow into the best learner they can be.   Every student learns a different way and it is my job to teach them in the way that they learn best.
