I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish with a minor in Social Sciences from the University of North Texas.  I studied in Spain for my final semester of college which was some of the best time in my life - I highly recommend study abroad to anyone who has an opportunity, it was truly a life-changing experience.
This is my 11th year teaching (21th in education) and my 6th year here at Boswell.
Before becoming the Boswell AVID Site Coordinator, I taught Spanish and coached girls' soccer.
In my years BB (Before Boswell) I was the coordinator of the ESL and Bilingual programs in another district at the elementary and intermediate level, covering grades from pre-K through 6th

My husband, my son and my mom are my whole world!!!
I love to travel, particularly to Europe.  In my free time, I play soccer and read just about anything I can get my hands on.  I love to study languages (English, Spanish and French so far...) and the cultures which they influence.  I love to watch documentaries and foreign films.  I love Yoga.  I love teaching!!

It's a great day to be a Pioneer!
