The photo is my weekend office.
After high school and college, I worked for the Texas Department of Transportation for 18 years. In 2000, I was asked to pursue a teaching career to encourage students to look at the construction fields as a career. From 2000 – 2002, I helped develop and taught a Heavy Highway Construction Class for the Fort Worth ISD. From 2002 - 2004, I taught Building Trades in Fort Worth ISD. In 2004 - 2005, I set up a Pre-Engineering Lab at Fossil Ridge High School in the Keller ISD, and 2005 to 2011, I taught Technology Systems, College Ed and Career Investigation at Fossil Hill Middle School, also in the Keller ISD. In 2011, I retired and spent a year and a half substitute teaching in Keller ISD. Just before the 2013-2014 school year, I was asked if I would return to teaching at Highland Middle School.
My weekends are spent with my family and at my church. I have two daughters that teach in the Birdville School District and two grandsons. My hobby is drumming. I have been drumming for around 55 years. I have worked with a lot of great contemporary christian, blues and jazz bands.
