What is Dual Credit

  • Dual credit courses allow students to earn college credit while attending high school. Dual credit courses satisfy high school graduation requirements and provide college credit at the same time. SHS works in partnership with Tarrant County College to provide dual credit opportunities to our students.


  • Use this link to nagivate to the TCC Bookstore. You can input your course number and secton to find out what textbook you need. Some courses do not require a book.

    Payments for Fall 2020 DUAL CREDIT ARE DUE no later than August 19, 2020. Or a payment plan must be set up with the business office by this date. 

    Payment and Financial Aid - Students are responsible for paying tuition and books costs for dual credit. Please refer to the EMS ISD Dual Credit Policies, Procedures & Resources for specific information. 

    Payments can be made in person at TCC at TCC Northwest Campus Business Services, WADM Building, RM 1202A. 817.515.4729. *Call before going to campus as offices may be closed due to COVID-19. 

    Payments can also be made online thru the student's TCC WebAdvisor at wa.tccd.edu. Click on the Pay Now button and follow instructions. 

    ***Saginaw High School cannot take dual credit payments.***

    Financial Aid: Students may be eligible for a TCC Dual Credit Grant awarded by TCC. If requesting financial aid through TCC, you must fill out the FAFSA. Please refer to the instructions on the links below for specific steps. A new form must be completed EACH semester. Students are responsible for working with the TCC Financial Aid Office.
