Hello! My name is Kelly Guidry, and I have been a part of the Creekview family for 4 years. I began my teaching career in Fort Worth ISD as a Special Education teacher at Jo Kelly School. I began my career as an elementary school counselor with the Keller ISD in 2000 at Parkview Elementary. I left Parkview in 2010, and began a private counseling practice full time, where I worked with children, adolescents, and families, as well as children in the foster care system. However, I quickly realized how much I missed being in the education setting. I joined the team at Trinity Meadows Intermediate in 2012, and found my way to Creekview Middle School in 2014.
I grew up in Delaware (yes, I am a Yankee) and received my Bachelor's Degree from Ursinus College in Collegeville, PA in 1994. I moved to Texas in 1995, and graduated with my Master's Degree in Counselor Education from the University of North Texas in Denton in 2002. I am currently completing my PhD in Counseling from Texas A & M University- Commerce, and hope to graduate in May 2018.
I have been married to my husband, Nate, for 18 years, and we have 2 sons, Caden and Lane. I love being a Creekview Colt, and love getting to know your children!
