TCC College Access Program

  • Tarrant County College is a two-year college that provides students with educational opportunities to support degree or certificate goals and help with career preparation. 

    The TCC College Access Program provides pre-college information, testing, advising, financial aid and admissions services for high school seniors at participating high schools, including Chisholm Trail High School.

    Senior students interested in pursuing a degree or certificate at TCC, or that are planning to take at least one class at TCC to transfer to another college or university are eligible to participate in the program. Follow the steps below to participate.

  • To complete the application to Tarrant County College, students must complete the Apply TCC application.

Step 3: WebAdvisor & TCC Email Setup

  • *After completing the application to TCC, you should receive an email within 48 to 72 hours from TCC that includes your TCC ID number, email address, and instructions for accessing Webadvisor.

    WebAdvisor: Log in to WebAdvisor.

    WebAdvisor Help: If needed, get help logging into WebAdvisor.

    TCC Help Desk: Contact the TCC Help Desk if having trouble logging into TCC accounts.

Step 4: Pre-Assessment Activity & TSI Assessment

  • TSIA2 Assessment Exemptions: See if you are exempt from taking the TSIA assessment.

    TSIA2 Assessment: Students that have not met the exemption criteria will need to take the TSIA2. The link provided outlines instructions for taking the assessment through the TCC testing center. Once steps 1 through 4 of the College Access program are complete, students can use these instructions to test through TCC at any time. 

    The TSIA2 PreAssessment Activity (PAA) must be completed before you can take the TSIA2 anywhere. See step number 2 on the TCC TSI Assessment webpage. 

    *Testing will be available at SHS for seniors completing steps 1-4 of the TCC College Access Program. The first 75 seniors to register will be able to test on March 1. Other dates are TBD. Complete the SHS TSIA2 form to register for the March 1 date. TSIA2 Registration Form

Step 5: Financial Aid

  • FSA ID: Create a FSA ID to electronically sign your FAFSA and manage your account.

    FAFSA: Apply for federal student financial aid.
