In accordance with policies (Education Code, 28.004 (k)) at EHAB, EHAC, EHBG, [and FFA], the district will ensure that students in full-day pre-kindergarten through grade 5 engage in moderate or vigorous physical activity for at least 30 minutes per day or 135 minutes per week.
    Students in middle or junior high school will engage in [30 minutes of moderate or vigorous physical activity per day for at least four semesters OR at least 225 minutes of moderate or vigorous physical activity within each two-week period for at least four semesters].
    The Eagle Mountain-Saginaw ISD SHAC Committee routinely meets (at least four times per year).
    Eagle Mountain-Saginaw complies with all vending / a la carte / competitive food regulations contained in the Healthy Hunger Free Kids Act. All vending programs are in compliance with all applicable USDA regulations.
    Students in the possession of tobacco are subject to the Student Code of Conduct, and consequences there of. 
    Parents may request, in writing, their child's physical fitness assessment (fitnessgram) results at the end the school year.
