• Boswell Driver's Ed 2019 - 2020

    Classes Dates: 
                                           
    Fall - September 23rd - October 14th
     
    FUTURE CLASSES - JANUARY 2020 TBD                   

    Boswell and Chisholm students may sign up on the first day of class.   Students should be dropped off at front of the Boswell campus at the horseshoe drive surrounding the flagpole.  An instructor will be at the outside door letting students into the building between 6:15 - 6:30 AM.

    There is no transportation provided from Boswell to any other campus.
     
    Classes meet Monday - Friday from 6:30 AM - 8:30 AM in the SMALL Boswell Lecture Hall for a total of 16 school days. 
     
    Total Cost: $335
     
    Payments:     Total payment is due by the first class unless other arrangements have been made.
                      
    Driving Phase:
    1. Students must have 7 hours behind the wheel instruction and 7 hours observation.
    2. Students must hold their learner's permits for a 6 month period before they are eligible to test for their license.  Students will be scheduled to drive during this 6 month period.  Instructors will contact the students individually when it is their turn to drive.  It usually takes the entire 6 month period to complete the driving portion with all students.
     
    Students are required to complete 30 additional driving hours with their parents.  10 of these hours must be at night.
     
    Students are also required to complete the Impact Texas Teen Driver program no more than 90 days before they test for their driver's license.
     
    IMPORTANT NOTICE - UPON COMPLETION OF THE DRIVING PORTION OF THE CLASS, STUDENTS MUST CONTACT MRS. LUDINGTON AT THE EMAIL BELOW IN ORDER TO PRESENT THE PAPER GIVEN TO THEM BY THEIR DRIVING INSTRUCTOR SHOWING ALL OF THEIR DRIVING HOURS.  MRS. LUDINGTON WILL THEN ISSUE THE COMPLETION CERTIFICATE NEEDED BY THE DRIVER'S LICENSE OFFICE IN ORDER TO TAKE THE DRIVING TEST!
