Eagle Mountain-Saginaw ISD encourages all residents to become registered voters and to stay informed about school district and community issues. For more information about registering to vote or the election process, listed below are agencies that can answer questions or concerns:

The Tarrant County Elections Administration is responsible for voter registration and conducting all federal, state, and county elections and certain elections for municipalities, independent school districts, and other political subdivisions that contract with Tarrant County for elections services.

Secretary of State serves as the Chief Election Officer for the state of Texas, assisting county election officials and ensuring the uniform application and interpretation of election laws through the state. The Texas Secretary of State created www.votetexas.gov/ to provide election information such as where to vote, what to bring, what the process is like, and much more, in a user-friendly format.

Joint Elections
The Tarrant County Elections Administration will use various Eagle Mountain-Saginaw ISD campuses and offices for polling locations during elections. Joint Election Notices involving the use of Eagle Mountain-Saginaw ISD facilities will be posted on this link.
Register to Vote
To vote in Texas, you must be registered. Simply pick up a voter registration application, fill it out, and mail it at least 30 days before the election date. For more information, visit the website: VOTETEXAS.GOV
You are eligible to register to vote if:
- You are a United States citizen;
- You are a resident of the county where you submit the application;
- You are at least 18 years old on Election Day;
- You are not a convicted felon (you may be eligible to vote if you have completed your sentence, probation, and parole); and
- You have not been declared by a court exercising probate jurisdiction to be either totally mentally incapacitated or partially mentally incapacitated without the right to vote.

To confirm your voter registration status, you may select one of three methods to perform a search:
- Your Texas driver’s license number, if you provided it when you applied for voter registration;
- Your Voter Unique Identifier (VUID), which appears on your voter registration certificate;
- Your first and last name.

Campaign Signs
No campaign signs on EMS ISD property with the exception of locations that are polling locations on the actual day(s) of polling, pursuant to Texas Election Code, Sec. 61.003. The District may designate locations for campaign signage to maintain safe visibility of students and vehicle traffic. Keeping our children safe is our main priority.
