Tarleton Today is a dual enrollment program that works with your school district and others across the state of Texas. Through dual enrollment, students can earn college credit while earning high school credit. This allows students to save time and money, while also receiving the rigor of college content inside their high school classroom.

What are the benefits of Tarleton Today?

· Students have the opportunity to develop skills that prepare them for life after high school.

· Students can earn credit from a four-year institution at a fraction of the cost.

· Placement test scores (such as TSI) are not required to enroll in the course.

· Students who successfully complete their core curriculum and pass all required courses can transfer their "core complete" status to any public institution of higher education in Texas, as guaranteed by state law under Texas Education Code Section 61.822.

· Students in Tarleton Today courses may choose to accept or decline the college grade and credit at the end of the course.
