District Curriculum Information

Eagle Mountain-Saginaw ISD scientists make connections across disciplines to build a framework of understanding through recurring themes and concepts. They will learn to integrate science and engineering practices, such as asking questions, developing models, analyzing data, and constructing explanations. By investigating real-world phenomena, students will deepen their insights and apply their knowledge to design innovative solutions to complex problems.

Students will analyze and interpret data to understand meaning, identify features and patterns, and uncover relationships or correlations. This approach will help them develop evidence-based arguments, evaluate designs, and effectively communicate their findings. By engaging with real-world scenarios, they will enhance their ability to draw conclusions and propose innovative solutions based on their analyses.

Vision: To be at the forefront of science education.

Mission: To create a community of lifelong learners who are globally competitive citizens.

The goal of EMS ISD science is to foster a culture of inquiry where all learners are challenged by a curriculum rich in discovery, scientific and engineering processes, and experimental design.
