OBJECTIVE:

Students will use technology to research and create a power point presentation on a Famous Hispanic Person or a Popular Hispanic Holiday Tradition.

 

PROCEDURE:

1.    Choose a Famous Hispanic person or a Hispanic Holiday Tradition from the attached list provided.

2.    Do research at school and/or at home.

3.    Bring gathered information to the media center to create the Power Point Presentation.

4.    Prepare Power Point oral presentation. (see rubric for grade)

(Include as many visuals as possible). * Authentic items are welcome!

Power Point

Pen or Pencil

5.    Presentations are due the following class period after Power Point Slides are completed.

6.    At the day of presentation please HAND IN:

á       Power Point Presentation Slide Sheet

á       Rubric for Famosos Hispanos/Tradition presentation (see attached)

Note:

v    Your presentation will be NO LONGER than 14 slides.

v    MUST INCLUDE picture of country map, famous person, and flag.

v    Any additional pictures will be accepted as well to add more meaning to the presentation.

v    There should be a citation page. All sources have to be cited.

 

 

Assignment: You have been chosen to work for Spanish PEOPLE magazine and are on assignment to research a Famous Hispanic Person or a Hispanic Holiday Tradition. Once the information below is obtained you will create a PowerPoint presentation and share the information gathered with your co-workers! BE SURE TO INCLUDE PICTURES!!!!!!
