Employee Grants and Scholarships

Each year the EMS ISD Education Foundation continues its mission of supporting programs that assist in achieving academic excellence. Grants and scholarships for employees help in the development of solutions to enrich and maximize the quality of education. 

 

Employee Scholarships are also awarded that support teachers in pursuing college degrees or certifications that will enhance their skills to benefit the students of the EMS ISD.

Educational grants and scholarships equip teachers with additional tools to achieve these goals. The awarded grants provide funding for additional approaches that can spark a student’s imagination, engage them, and ultimately elevate their participation in all subjects.

Grants

Educational Grant

  • Applications will be open February 1 – March 27, 2026.
  • Grant limit is $1,000.
  • You are encourage to submit Educational Grant proposals that will fund new and creative projects to improve student achievement and enhance their education.
  • IF YOU ARE REQUESTING  MORE THAN $1,000, PLEASE COMPLETE THE 21ST CENTURY GRANT.

Educational Grant Application

21st Century Learning Grant 

  • Applications will be open February 1 – March 27, 2026.
  • Grant limit is $10,000.
  • You are encouraged to submit the 21st Century Grant proposals that support the districts strategic direction, and enhance efforts to promote collaboration, engagement, digital literacy, critical thinking, problem solving, and global awareness.

  • Applications for the 2026-2027 year will open September 2, 2026. Deadline for submission will be October 23, 2026.
