Carla Hardy
  • Carla Hardy began teaching at Chisholm Trail High School as a voice teacher and accompanist in its opening year, 2012.  The next fall, she joined the choral staff as the assistant director to her husband, Jared Hardy, and then became the head director of choirs and CTHS Fine Arts Department Chair in 2019.  The Hardy's moved to Fort Worth from Lubbock, Texas where they taught in Frenship ISD for 9 years.  The Hardy's are humbled by the growth of the CTChorale in these last eight years.  The choirs have performed across the United States while receiving multiple and consecutive UIL Sweepstakes awards and festival honors for each of the six competing choirs in the program.

Mrs. Hardy graduated with both her Bachelors and Masters degrees from Wayland Baptist University.  Mrs. Hardy is a frequent judge and clincian across the state.  Carla was named the 2018 and 2020 Teacher of the Year for Chisholm Trail High School, the 2018 Secondary Teacher of the Year for Eagle Mountain Saginaw ISD, and a 2018 National Educator of the Year for Jostens Renaissance.  Also in 2018, Carla won an essay award through the Region 11 Education Center on the positive shift in climate and culture of CTHS.  The Hardy's were named as the 2018 Distinguished Alumni for Wayland Baptist University.  Carla also proudly served as the TMEA All-State Treble Choir Coordinator in 2016 and 2017.
