Common Tools

We are #emsproud to provide a variety of online resources - Canvas, Office 365, and more - for teachers to use as a digital extension of the classroom for assignments, projects, rubrics, etc. Skyward Family Access and/or ParentSquare are used as primary communication tools with parents to share course syllabi, assignment due dates, and progress reports throughout the year. Explore the common tools below and additional information available on the Families tab of the website. Skyward Family Access Logo

Skyward Family Access is an informational resource made available to every family in EMS ISD at no cost. This resource provides real-time information about your child's grades and attendance, class schedule, and demographic information.

Family Access provides safe, secure and easy access to your child's school record. Each parent has a unique login. Visit our Skyward Family Access webpage for information about obtaining a Family Access login.

EMS ISD is using ParentSquare, a communication platform that brings all your school messages into one easy place, whether through the app, email, text, or web. It also lets you communicate directly with teachers and staff along with campus and district administrators and automatically translates messages into your preferred language so every family can stay informed and engaged.

Join ParentSquare today to get started and register the email address you provided in Skyward Family Access during school registration.

Through our partnership with Microsoft Education, EMS ISD students have access to Office 365 online, the most updated versions of Microsoft Office applications, FREE of charge for home. Visit our Office 365 overview page for download instructions.

Access to Office 365 is available to students through our Single Sign-on Portal (SSO). Students receive their SSO login during enrollment. Ask your student today about his/her SSO login.
