UIL One Act Play “Radium Girls” has advanced to the Area!
Not only has our company advanced to the next round, but they came in 1st place at Bi-District, which is extremely hard to do! We also came home with several individual awards!

CX Debate Makes School History
Over spring break, four students represented Saginaw High School at the UIL State CX Debate Competition. Seniors Anicia Diaz, and Abigail Palin and Juniors Aiden Holt and Grace Sears. Check out their results!

Francis Arroyo finishes 2nd in Powerlifting
Please congratulate Saginaw High School powerlifter Francis Arroyo! Francis finished in 2nd place in the 165 lb class at the Texas High School Women's Powerlifting Association State Meet on March 18 in Frisco. Francis exemplified great competitive spirit at the state meet and throughout the season! Job well done!

FFA Students Place in the Tarrant County Livestock Show!
This week we have had a couple of our Saginaw students show at the Tarrant County Livestock Show. Freshman Emily Edwards placed 4th in very competitive American Fuzzy Lop rabbit class! Senior Erika Mize placed 6th place in a large Hampshire market swine class!

SHS Color Guard Places First in Competition!
The JV team placed 2nd in their division and our varsity team brought home another 1st place trophy!

SHS Art Students qualify for State!
SHS art students participated in the Visual Art Scholastic Event. We took home 49 Regional Medals, with 2 Area Qualifiers advancing to STATE!

Saginaw High School Percussionist Named to All-State Band
Sophomore Evan Danforth represented Saginaw High School and EMS ISD at the state convention in San Antonio.

Saginaw Choir Students Receive Superior Ratings at Festival!
This past Saturday, Saginaw Choir students performed solos and competed in the EMS ISD 1st Annual Solo and Ensemble Festival. Check out how well the students did!

Board Approves 2023-2024 School Calendar
The first day of classes for students will be Monday, August 14, 2023. The 2023-2024 school calendar meets all state-mandated requirements for the number of required minutes of instruction and staff work schedules.

EMS Education Foundation Senior Scholarship Application is NOW OPEN!
EMS Education Foundation will be using the streamlined platform Kaleidoscope to complete applications. The application deadline is February 21, 2023.

Join Us for IMPACT on Tuesdays from 4:30-6pm in the Cafeteria!
IMPACT (formerly Effie Center) will be held on Tuesdays from 4:30-6 in the cafeteria. Please join us for fun, food and games! Great way to spend time while waiting to get picked up or just looking for something to do after school with friends!
