This is the second time for the Thunderbird Flight Squadron to perform the coin toss at a Saginaw Varsity Football game. It happened that this year, it was when the Rough Riders played their sister-school, Chisholm Trail. To make it even more special, the team brought their commemorative Thunderbird coin to be used during the toss. "It was a great honor to have the country's best pilots at this game and watch our team play" said Coach Dane Johnson, head football coach for Saginaw High School.
