FCCLA sending 15 students to state competition

fifteen FCCLA state qualifiers

Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) students from BHS, SHS, and CTHS competed at the area contest February 21-23 in Waco.  The students were strong competitors and represented their schools and the district well, sending the 15 students below to state that will take place April 3-6, 2019 in Dallas.

The mission of FCCLA is to promote personal growth and leadership development through Family and Consumer Sciences education. Focusing on the multiple roles of family member, wage earner, and community leader, members develop skills for life through character development, creative and critical thinking, interpersonal communication, practical knowledge, and career preparation.

Congratulations to these students and sponsors and best of luck at state!
