Familiar face to lead Greenfield Elementary

portrait of Kelly Ramsey, newly named principal of GFES Eagle Mountain-Saginaw ISD is pleased to announce that Kelly Ramsey has been named the new principal for Greenfield Elementary School. She will take over for Cathe Bragg, who announced her retirement earlier this year.

Ramsey has been in EMS ISD for 15 years, serving eight years as a special education teacher, four years as an RtI/Literacy Specialist, and the last three years as the Assistant Principal at Greenfield Elementary. She has 17 years of experience serving students in Texas public schools. Prior to finding her home in EMS ISD, she worked as an elementary Assistant Principal for Kennedale ISD.

Ramsey received her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Maryland (European Division) and her master’s degree in Educational Administration from Lamar University. Mrs. Ramsey loves to learn and grow as an educator and leader. She strives to encourage and empower others to be their best every day, "Every Gator, Every Need, Every Day!"

Ramsey has been married to her high school sweetheart for 22 years. They have three children, ages 16, 14, and 11, who all attend EMS ISD schools. In her free time, Ramsey stays busy supporting her children in their various activities like baseball, theater, gymnastics, volleyball, and honor choir.
