EMS ISD welcomes new Chisholm Ridge ES Principal

Eagle Mountain-Saginaw ISD is pleased to announce that Krystle Green has been named the new principal of Chisholm Ridge Elementary School. She will take over for Susan Cook, who is moving to the Curriculum and Instruction department as the district’s Elementary Science Coordinator.

Green comes to EMS ISD from Irving ISD and has more than 15 years of experience as a principal, assistant principal, instructional coach, and teacher. Prior to her time in Irving ISD, she worked in Richardson ISD. She also taught in Ecuador, South America, and has led educational trainings for teachers in Dallas, Fort Worth, South America, and South Africa as a consultant, sharing her best practices in classroom management, reading, math, vocabulary, working with English-language learners, and effective use of small groups in the classroom.

Green earned a master’s degree in curriculum and instruction from the University of North Texas, a bachelor’s degree in interdisciplinary studies from Texas State University, and is currently working on her doctorate in organizational leadership.

She enjoys spending time with her husband, Andre, and their active dog, Cookie. She loves to sing karaoke, travel to different countries, and learn about new places and cultures.
