EMS ISD welcomes new faces in assistant principal roles

Eagle Mountain-Saginaw ISD is pleased to announce new assistant principals at several of our elementary, middle, and high school campuses.

Elementary Schools

Bryson Elementary School Assistant Principal: Jim Wade

Jim Wade has been selected to serve as Assistant Principal at Bryson Elementary School. Wade has 18 years of experience in education. Most recently, he served as Assistant Principal at Willow Creek Elementary for two years. He has a bachelor’s degree in Rehabilitation Studies and a master’s degree in Educational Administration both from The University of North Texas.

Chisholm Ridge School Assistant Principal: David Kinney

David Kinney has been selected to serve as Assistant Principal of Chisholm Ridge Elementary School. Kinney has 23 years of service in Texas public schools. Most recently, he has served as an Education Technology Specialist in the College of Education at Texas Christian University and a Title I tutor in Birdville ISD. Kinney earned his Master of Education in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies from The University of Texas at Arlington and his Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education from Texas Christian University. 

Dozier Elementary School Assistant Principal: Kim Ray

Kim Ray has been selected to serve as Assistant Principal at Dozier Elementary School. Ray has 25 years of experience in education. Most recently, she served as the Assistant Principal at Bryson Elementary School for three years. Ray has a bachelor’s degree from Texas A&M and a master’s degree from The University of North Texas. 

Greenfield Elementary School Assistant Principal: Terrilin Holz

Terrilin Holz has been selected to serve as Assistant Principal of Greenfield Elementary School. She has 18 years of experience serving students in Texas public schools. Holz has taught in Keller, HEB, and EMS ISDs. Holz received her bachelor's degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from The University of North Texas and her master's degree in Educational Administration from The University of Phoenix.

High Country Elementary School Assistant Principal: Allison Bode

Allison Bode has been selected to serve as Assistant Principal at High Country Elementary School. Bode has 19 years of experience in education. Most recently, she has served as the Aspiration Initiative Coordinator for the past three years, building a strong program that supports at-risk students. Bode has a bachelor’s degree from Oklahoma State University and a Masters in Educational Leadership from Texas Christian University.

Northbrook Elementary School Assistant Principal: Natasha Provo

Natasha Provo has been selected to serve as Assistant Principal at Northbrook Elementary School. She has more than 14 years of experience in education. Most recently, she served as Librarian for the past five years at Chisholm Ridge Elementary. She received her Bachelors of Arts Degree in Elementary Education from Louisiana State University, her Masters of Education in Library Media from The University of West Alabama, and her Principal Certification from Lamar University.

Saginaw Elementary School Assistant Principal: Melissa Curtis

Melissa Curtis has been selected as Assistant Principal of Saginaw Elementary School. Curtis has been in EMS ISD for seven years and has 16 years of experience in education. Most recently, she served as Assistant Principal at Chisholm Ridge Elementary School. Curtis earned her master’s degree from Texas Woman’s University.

Willow Creek Elementary School Assistant Principal: Heather Smith

Heather Smith has been selected to serve as Assistant Principal at Willow Creek Elementary School. Smith has 20 years of experience in education. Most recently, she taught fifth grade at Parkview Elementary School. Smith has a bachelor’s degree from Southern Utah University and a master’s degree from The University of Texas at Arlington.

Hafley Development Center Assistant Principal: Jerretta Henderson

Jerretta Henderson has been selected to serve as Assistant Principal of the Hafley Development Center. She has 12 years of experience in education and has served in a variety of teaching roles. Most recently, she was an Aspiring Principal Resident at Dolores Huerta Elementary in FWISD. She earned her Master’s of Education with concentration in Educational Leadership from Texas Christian University.  


Middle Schools

Creekview Middle School Assistant Principal: Dzung Huynh

Dzung Huynh has been selected to serve as Assistant Principal at Creekview Middle School. He has six years of experience in education. Most recently, he taught science at Boswell High School. He has a Bachelor's of Science in chemistry degree from The University of Texas at Arlington and Masters in Educational Leadership degree from Texas Christian University.

Ed Willkie Middle School Assistant Principal: Ebony Love

Ebony Love has been selected to serve as Assistant Principal at Ed Willkie Middle School. She has seven years of experience in education. Most recently, she taught chemistry and debate at Chisholm Trail High School. Love has a masters’ degree from The University of Alabama and Texas Christian University.

Ed Willkie Middle Assistant Principal: Erica Sidman

Erica Sidman has been selected to serve as Assistant Principal at Ed Willkie Middle School. She has 15 years of experience in education. For the past three years, she has taught RTI Reading at Prairie Vista Middle School. Sidman has a bachelor’s degree from Texas Tech University and a master’s degree from The University of Texas at Arlington.

Highland Middle School Assistant Principal: Karen Burch

Karen Burch has been selected to serve as Assistant Principal at Highland Middle School. She has 19 years of experience in education. Most recently, Burch has taught at Highland Middle School for the past 12 years as a math teacher and also served as the Math Department Chair. Burch received her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree from Texas Woman’s University and a Master of Education Administration from Lamar University.

Marine Creek Middle School Assistant Principal: Whitney Wheeler

Whitney Wheeler has moved up from Bryson Elementary School to serve as Assistant Principal at Marine Creek Middle School. This will be Marine Creek’s inaugural year. Wheeler has 14 years of experience in education. She served as Principal at Bryson Elementary School for three years. Wheeler has a Bachelor of Science in Education from Texas Christian University and a Master of Education from Texas Wesleyan University.

Wayside Middle School Assistant Principal: Andrew Hohman

Andrew Hohman has been selected to serve as Assistant Principal at Wayside Middle School. He served as a counselor at Eagle Mountain Elementary for four years before moving to Ed Willkie Middle School, where he served the past two years as an assistant principal. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Midwestern State and master’s degree from The University of North Texas. 


High Schools

Boswell High School Assistant Principal: Jaime Morgan

Jaime Morgan has been selected to serve as Assistant Principal at Boswell High School. Morgan has 18 years of experience in education. Most recently, she served as an AP Social Studies teacher and assistant gymnastics coach at Boswell High School. She has a Bachelor’s in Political Science from Texas Tech University and a Master’s in Educational Leadership from Dallas Baptist University.

Boswell High School Assistant Principal: Genesis Reddic

Genesis Reddic has been selected to serve as Assistant Principal at Boswell High School. Reddic is in his 12th year as an educator. Most recently, he was a teacher at Chisholm Trail High School and has served as the summer school Assistant Principal for the past two years. Reddic earned his bachelor’s degree from Texas Tech University and his master’s from Lamar University.

Chisholm Trail High School Assistant Principal: Ronald Gatlin

Ronald Gatlin has been selected to serve as Assistant Principal at Chisholm Trail High School. Gatlin has 14 years of educational experience. Most recently, he served as Assistant Principal at Tidwell Middle School in Northwest ISD. Gatlin is a proud graduate of Oklahoma State University. He received his master's degree in education from The University of Central Oklahoma and both his principal and superintendent certifications from Lamar University.

Chisholm Trail High School Assistant Principal: Wat Harden

Wat Harden has been selected to serve as Assistant Principal at Chisholm Trail High School. Harden has 15 years of experience in education. Most recently, he served as the Associate Principal of Crowley High School. Harden is a proud graduate of Hampton University. He received his master's degree from Arkansas State University and principal certification from Tarleton State University.

Chisholm Trail High School Assistant Principal: Renata Schlotzhauer

Renata Schlotzhauer has been selected to serve as Assistant Principal at Chisholm Trail High School. She has 15 years of experience in education. Most recently, she served at Eaton High School in Northwest ISD as World Languages Department Chair, Spanish teacher, Summer School Testing Coordinator, and Summer School Assistant Principal. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish as well as a master's degree in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies - both from The University of Texas in Arlington. 

Chisholm Trail High School Assistant Principal: Jason Sneed

Jason Sneed has moved to Chisholm Trail High School to serve as Assistant Principal. Sneed has 24 years of experience in education. Most recently, he served as Principal at Wayside Middle School for four years. Sneed earned his Master of Arts degree from Tarleton State University.

Saginaw High School Assistant Principal: Carrie D'Amico

Carrie D'Amico has been selected to serve as Assistant Principal at Saginaw High School. D'Amico has 16 years of experience in education. Most recently, she served as Assistant Principal at Highland Middle School. She graduated from The University of North Texas with a Bachelor of Science in Management. She earned her teaching certificate and a Master of Arts in Teaching with a minor in mathematics from Texas Women's University.
