The EMS ISD Holiday Open House dates back to the early 1980s (records are unclear on the exact year). The original celebration lasted for three days, Tuesday through Thursday! It was held in the Ramsey building and each school was assigned a date to attend. The public was invited to attend on any of the three days. Each year, this community tradition continues to grow.
