CTHS Senior Earns Junior Achievement Award

Maya Stevens Innovative entrepreneur and Chisholm Trail High School senior Maya Stevens was recognized for her company, Monarch Calendars. Stevens was honored during the 2020 Junior Achievement Company of the Year Awards Ceremony held virtually April 29. The senior won second place for Best Annual Report.  

Monarch Calendars sells self-help, interactive calendars that offer daily reminders, habit and mood trackers, and goal setting ideas. The calendar makes it easy for users to set a goal each week and enjoy a reward at the end of it. 

In February, Stevens earned Best Sales Presentation Runner-Up at the Junior Achievement of Chisholm Trail’s Company Program Trade Fair. 

Stevens is ranked in top 10 percent of her class and plans to attend the University of North Texas in the fall to study business. She is her senior class president, president of Ranger Renaissance, a Junior Achievement student board member, and involved in a host of other extra- and co-curricular activities.
