The EMS ISD Trailblazers competed in the 2022 Special Olympics Area Bowling Competition on November 10 at Bowlero in Watauga. A total of 26 athletes representing EMS ISD elementary, middle and high schools competed against Keller ISD, Argyle ISD, and White Settlement ISD. All EMS athletes brought home medals in their divisions.

"The EMS ISD Trailblazer athletes have been practicing their bowling skills for the last two months for the Area competition," said Emily Kasper, girls PE/Athletics coach at Marine Creek MS and delegation leader of the Trailblazers team. "We came out competing and did well representing our district. All took home medals. It was fun to see all of our talented athletes use their skills and be successful. I am so proud of all our athletes and their hard work. Go Trailblazers."

Congratulations to each of these student athletes and their coaches! We are #EMSproud of you!
