High School Theater Departments Offering Performances Now Through December
If you are looking for entertainment, look no further than EMS ISD high school theater departments’ productions happening now through December. Information for each play and musical at Boswell, Chisholm Trail, and Saginaw high schools is listed below. We are #EMSproud of our theater students!
Boswell High School
Boswell High School proudly presents “Seussical” November 17-20. Showtimes are 7:30 p.m. Thursday through Saturday and 3 p.m. on Sunday at the Boswell High School Reeves Fine Arts Center. This musical comedy is based on several children's stories written by Dr. Seuss and includes favorite characters like the Cat in the Hat and Horton the Elephant.

Chisholm Trail High School
Chisholm Trail High School proudly presents “Almost, Maine” November 17-19. The play begins at 7 p.m. each night at the CTHS Jared Hardy Performing Arts Center, with a 1 p.m. matinee on November 19. In the play, you get to know the people of the town of Almost, Maine, and their funny, surreal, sad and heartwarming stories. Admission is $10 for adults and $5 for students and can be purchased on the CTHS Theatre website.
Next month, the troupe will present “The Alibis” running from December 8-10. After an eccentric billionaire is murdered, you hear the ridiculous and absurd alibis of all the suspects. This show will keep you laughing and guessing. Performances begin at 7 p.m. each night at the CTHS Jared Hardy Performing Arts Center with a 1 p.m. matinee on December 10. Admission is $10 for adults and $5 for students and tickets will be available on the CTHS Theatre website.
Saginaw High School
Saginaw High School proudly presents the musical comedy “Dirty Rotten Scoundrels”. Showtimes are December 8-11 at 7 p.m. in the SHS Auditorium.
Advanced tickets cost $8 for adults and $4 for students. After December 2, tickets will cost $10 for adults and $5 for students. Purchase tickets on the SHS theater website.
Based on the movie of the same name, this musical transports you to the French Riviera for an evening of “high jinks and hilarity,” according to Music Theatre International.
