It is a big week for the administration at Eagle Mountain High School. They are now working out of their own offices.

When asked “what’s one word to describe how you're feeling,” all the EMHS administrators said, “excited!” 

“When I got in my car this morning, I drove to work. And that’s the first time in a while I've done that, and it feels super exciting to finally be here after a year's worth of just planning. We cannot wait to welcome our EMHS Knights to this amazing facility,” said Dr. Ron Gatlin, EMHS Principal.

Most exciting to Brittny Sanchez, the principal’s secretary, are all the beautiful spaces around campus that will contribute to a dynamic learning environment. 

The rest of the EMHS staff will move into the new building in July. 

Then, the only thing missing will be the students.  

They’ll experience EMS ISD’s fourth comprehensive high school when it opens for its inaugural year in August. 

We are #EMSProud of the work taking place to prepare EMHS for an amazing first year of school and are excited about what lies ahead for the EMHS Knights.
